SeaWorld Orlando is made up of mostly shows, but it can be hard to fit them all in to one day. Check out my top three show picks and be sure not to miss them. If you have more time and can see more, that’s great! But here is my list of must do’s:
1.) Blue Horizons: This is the dolphin show, and is definitely a must do, and the show I was most impressed with! Dolphins are super smart, and it shows by the amazing tricks they perform during the show. But, you will see much more than dolphins here. There were actors doing acrobatics in gorgeous costumes, as well as colorful birds stealing the show as well. All set to beautiful music, this is a show I would watch again and again.
2.) One Ocean: One Ocean is the orca whale show at Shamu stadium. There is a lot of seating, but we still got there early. Be aware of the “splash zone” areas, you WILL get wet if you sit in them. It’s amazing how far they can fling water with their tails! It was amazing to see these gigantic creatures so close up. I also really enjoyed the video that was shown before the show explaining how the orca experience at SeaWorld was about to change. Larger tanks for the whales, and a more realistic viewing of them. So glad to see these changes!
3.) Clyde and Seamore’s Sea Lion High: I remember seeing the sea lion show as a little girl, so was excited about this one! The theming has changed, but the silly sea lion humor has not! Our daughter was napping when we got to the show, but thanks to the convenient sleeping baby stroller parking at the top of the stadium, we were still able to watch the show while she slept in her stroller. I loved this feature! This show featured a lot of slap stick comedy with tricks and fun mixed in. You will be sure to have lots of laughs!
