My family has been Florida seasonal passholders since 2002. We live two hours south from Disney World and try to go as often as we can. There are different options on the type of passes you can purchase as a Florida resident. We choose The Seasonal Pass, which is blocked out during the busiest times of the year. As a family we prefer to go during the off season.

The different types of Florida Annual Passes are: Premium Annual Pass, Annual Pass, Seasonal Pass, Weekday Select Pass, and The Epcot after 4 Pass. The Premium Pass offers unlimited admission to all four theme parks for one year. Park hopper, complimentary parking to all four parks, exclusive passholder communication, special discounts on merchandise, dining, and special resort offers are also included with the passes. With the Premium Pass you also have admission to both water parks and Disney Quest. You have access to exclusive special events and privileges.

The Annual Pass has all the privileges as the Premium Annual Pass expect you do not get admission to the waterparks or Disney Quest. The Seasonal Pass allows admission to all four parks with the park hopper. Block out dates do apply. You do get all the benefits of the Premium Pass expect complementary parking, no admission to waterparks or Disney Quest. The Weekday Select Pass has the same benefits as the Seasonal Pass, but this pass only allows admission Monday through Friday. Same block outs days apply as the Seasonal Pass.

For Epcot fans Disney World offers the Epcot after 4 pass. There are no block out dates. This pass only allows access to Epcot after 4pm for one year. With this pass you still have discounts on dining, merchandise, and resort stays. You also have exclusive passholder communication.

My family and I have really enjoyed the benefits of being Florida Seasonal passholders. Disney makes it very budget friendly now too. You have to option to pay upfront for you tickets or spread the cost out with monthly payments. The Disney resorts also offer passholder room discounts throughout the year as well. If your family loves Disney as much as my family does becoming passholders is a gift that continues throughout the year.
