I love to visit Disney World during the Christmas season. All of the parks fill you with Christmas cheer as they are decked out for the holidays. Disney World goes all out for the holiday season. It truly is a Magical experience. I have listed some of my favorite things to do when visiting during “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

The spirit of the season can be captured throughout the park with all of the Christmas lights, decorations, towering Christmas trees, and Christmas music. There are also wonderful holiday shows where some of your favorite Disney friends come to life. Grab your complimentary hot cocoa, cookies, and apple slices and watch reindeer, toy soldiers, gingerbread men, Santa, and your favorite Disney characters as they make an appearance in the “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade.“ I can’t stress enough just how magical this parade is. The party also has a spectacular display of fireworks, Holiday Wishes, narrated by Jiminy Cricket and accompanied by Christmas music.

MK Castle lights

Cinderella’s Castle

You will be in awe of Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom as it is magically transformed to an ice palace with thousands of beautiful twinkling lights.

Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional at Epcot presents the story of Jesus’ birth. You will be moved as a celebrity narrator reads inspiring scripture and a choir sings beautiful Christmas songs.

Holidays around the World

Epcot has a unique twist to their holiday entertainment by showcasing Santa’s from around the world. You can get a glimpse of how other countries celebrate Christmas traditions. You will be amazed at how much this varies from country to country.

Christmas Hollywood Studios

Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights

This is one of my favorite places to visit. Disney strings thousands of lights up and down buildings at Hollywood Studios and synchs them up to cheerful Christmas music. This would not be complete without snow in the forecast, “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”.

Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade

Check out this parade! During the holidays Disney continues the holiday magic with a Christmas version of the Jammin Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom.

Christmas Fort Wilderness

Resorts

We love to hop on the bus or monorail and visit different resorts during the holiday season. Each resort goes all out with decorations. One of my favorites is the Grand Floridian. They have an amazing Gingerbread House display. My family enjoys going over to Fort Wilderness and taking a stroll through the campgrounds to see the wonderful display of Christmas decorations there. What makes this so awesome is that the decorations are set up by RV guests who also want to be a part of the magic.

These are a few of our favorite things to do at Disney World during the holiday season. I would love to help you plan your next magical vacation to Disney World. Contact me today for a no obligation quote.
