For starters, I must admit that my family is a bunch of roller coaster fanatics. When they found out that they could design, test, and ride their own roller coaster simulation, they were thrilled. If this sounds like an experience that your family would enjoy, please make sure you visit The Sum of All Thrills at Innoventions East at Epcot. You must be 48” to ride.

The first thing you will do is go to the briefing room to watch a video on how to design your roller coaster. You will then enter the design area where your inner engineer can surface. You can choose from several design pieces and select your coaster speed. Anything fast and upside down was a favorite among my roller coaster extremists. You then test your selection to make sure it is a good design. If your design fails the test, you are given the opportunity to make changes to it.

Once your design has passed the test, you are off to try out your simulation. You are enclosed in a chair attached to a robotic arm. You are enclosed in a small area, so if you get claustrophobic easily, this may not be the ride for you. If you decide this ride is too much for you, you can press the panic button to abort the ride at any time.

I must say that our family had a blast on this ride. I would love to help you plan your next magical vacation to Disney World. Contact me today for a no obligation quote.
