Summer is the perfect time to relax with your family, enjoy a private dessert party, and be awed by the spectacular IllumiNations Fireworks Display!
The Party
The IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party provides a private viewing area for the evening fireworks by the World Showcase Plaza. The Party usually opens around 8:00pm, but guests start lining up about 30 minutes before. You will find a Cast Member there waiting to check you in!
Children and Adults are welcome to the dessert party where you will find traditional delicacies from around the World Showcase including baklava, tiramisu, chocolate ganache, churros, cupcakes, and cookies!
Water, lemonade and iced tea are available as well as champagne and wines (ID required) from various countries.
The private area is a large sectioned off area around the lagoon. No seating is provided, but plenty of space to find a place at a table, or bring your blanket and claim your spot on the ground. It is a great time to lay back, relax from the hot day, enjoy the view and wait for the fireworks!
The Details
The Cost for Adults is $49.00 and the price for children ages 3 to 9 is $29.00. Advanced purchase is required, and you can make your reservations starting 180 days before arrival. A Cast Member will be checking a guest list for confirmation as you enter the dessert party.
This is an outside event, and the fireworks are subject to cancellation. In case of rain or inclement weather, the dessert portion will be moved inside to another venue. Just check with the Cast Member at the World Showcase Plaza and they will guide you!
The IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party is definitely a pick for my family! We really enjoy getting away from the crowds and relishing in the party atmosphere. Best of all, we didn’t have to worry about finding a great spot to watch the fireworks: Disney provided it for us!
