Airline-Check-In-at-Walt-Disney-World

Resort Airline Check-in Service or RAC allows you to receive your boarding pass and check luggage at your Walt Disney World hotel, bypassing airport check-in completely.  I have been using this service for several years with no issues.  The Resort Airline desk is usually located at the front of your Disney Resort.  It is open from 5 am to 1 pm and can get very busy so give yourself enough time to get thru the process so they can get your luggage to the airport.  You can check in no more than 12 hours and no less than 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time.  This service is not run by Disney and you do not have to tip the attendant but I always do.

You visit the Resort Airline Check-In Desk located at your Walt Disney World Resort up to three hours prior to your flight departure time. A valid government issued photo I.D. and your hotel room key are required to participate according to Disney but I have never been asked for my room key.  I have always given them my passport or State License and my airline confirmation number.  They will weight your luggage so if you are going to be over you should contact Baggage airline services at 407-284-1231 to arrange to pay that fee before you go to the Resort Airline check-in desk, also if you are airline requires you to pay a fee to check baggage you should contact them to pay for that BEFORE heading to the RAC.  If you flying a carrier that charges a fee for baggage you should contact them to find out their policy or contact your Travel with the Magic vacation planner for there assistance.  If you are not planning on using Disney’s Magical Express you can still use RAC, you do not have to be using DME to take advantage of this service.
