My family camped at River Ranch RV resort over president’s day weekend. River Ranch is located in Central Florida about an hour from Disney World. River Ranch RV resort is located right next to Westgate River Ranch Resort. There is so much to do at River Ranch. There is a marina which is on the Kissimmee River. The facilities also have horseback riding, mini- golf, a petting zoo, tennis & basketball courts, and skeet shooting. There is a pool and jacuzzi on the premises too. There is a rodeo every Saturday night and they a family street party after. My family had a great time dancing in the streets!
Our RV site was beautiful. We had a deck with swings and a built in fire pit, which was great for making s’mores. The resort is pet friendly and we did bring our dog Ruby. We brought our bicycles, but they also rent them to guest. Bike riding is the popular means of transportation there.
We participated in a lot of the activities while we were there. My husband and son went skeet shooting. We went fishing as a family and went to the petting zoo. My daughter’s favorite was the petting zoo. She was able to feed and brush the ponies. The goats were very friendly too! We attended the Rodeo on Saturday night. We really enjoyed the variety of the activities available.
There is a kid zone area by the rodeo arena with a wide variety of activities for a fee. There is a rock climbing wall, bungee jumping, zip lining, and mini golf. You are able to pay per activity or buy a daily pass that includes all the activities. The daily pass allows you to do all the activities unlimited throughout the day.
