Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration will be going on until September of 2016. This once in a lifetime vacation can be within your budget when you stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel!
In April, I was given the opportunity to learn about and tour Disneyland’s Good Neighbor Hotels, and they really have a lot of offer!
To receive a Good Neighbor recognition, you must meet Disney’s high standards of amenities, service, price and location. There are 4 types of Good Neighbor Hotels to choose from: Economy, Moderate, Superior and Deluxe. I also toured Moderate, Superior, and Suites Hotels, and I found 3 favorites that have been renovated just in time for the Diamond Celebration!
Moderate resorts accommodate parties of up to six guests. All have swimming pools and some offer complimentary breakfast, room service, kids’ programs, and gift shops.
The Courtyard Marriott has the quality you know and love in a Marriott! It is less than a mile from the main gate, and offers onsite dining, a pool, business center and comfortable accommodations!
Superior Resorts accommodate parties of up to five guests. These hotels feature additional amenities such as room service, health club/spa, and full-service restaurant(s).
The Red Lion is within walking distance to the main gate, just less half a mile! You have contemporary accommodations, with onsite and room service dining and a large pool!
Suites Resorts offer deluxe accommodations with refrigerators, microwaves and complimentary WiFi. You have the option to upgrade to a suite for extra space with a separate living area, a sofa bed and two TVs.
With the Doubletree Anaheim, you will receive the famous, top-rated Hilton quality and service! Walking distance to Disneyland plus onsite dining, suites, plush beds, and an exclusive Disneyland Welcome Center, make this resort a top option for anyone’s vacation!
