Hi! My name is Melanie Gifford, and I live in Michigan with my husband, daughter, and twin sons. Disney World has always been my first choice for a vacation destination, and my love for it keeps growing with every visit. My excitement for Disney and wanting to help others get the most out of their vacations are the main reasons I became a travel planner. I want to share what I’ve learned with you and make sure every detail of your vacation is taken care of, so you can relax and have an amazing time!
I’ve visited Disney World many times at all different phases of life. This has given me an understanding of what Disney is like at all different ages and how each trip can be different from others. My husband and I were fortunate to be able to honeymoon at Disney World and on a Disney Cruise. Truly the best type of honeymoon, in my opinion. The Disney Cruise Line is top-notch and something I recommend to everyone. Now, vacationing with my family, I get to see the magic through my children’s eyes. Having the opportunity to visit Disney throughout my life has given me experience with multiple resorts, dining locations, and special events. I’ve learned many tips and tricks I’d love to share with you.

We’ve had Melanie help us plan two different trips so far and I would absolutely utilize her services again. A few years ago she helped with a full Disney vacation for our family of 5. Melanie was absolutely stellar at helping us plan our Disney vacation! We are Disney fans and have been many times but will always choose to use an agent. I was looking for a new one and found her in our community page and I am thrilled I did! She was there to answer any questions whenever, one arose checked deals as they came out, gave us sooo many documents of info which would be amazing as a newbie but was great even for us vets! Melanie was wonderful to work with, we booked the trip 12 days in advance and we were first timers! While some of our options were limited due to the short notice, Melanie provided great recommendations, guides, etc. that really helped us navigate our trip and make the most out of our 3 days at Disney. I would highly recommend her, she knows Disney very well and is super responsive and helpful!
I’ve visited Disney World before, and planned the majority of that trip myself, but with all the changes to the parks constantly rolling out and how difficult it can be to get THE reservation you want I knew I needed a travel agent this time. And one who specializes in Disney trips.
Working with Melanie was beyond amazing. She took out all the trip planning stress, and was so helpful and so kind in answering my sometimes silly, sometimes a little paranoid, questions. Melanie is absolutely a Disney trip genius, and has a wealth of information that she shares to make sure your stay at the park is magical. I follow a lot of Disney related media, and absolutely none of them give the kind of helpful tips that Melanie does. She is also on the pulse of all things Disney news, and I got updates about changes days before my Disney media sources made announcements. If I had planned the trip on my own and relied on those other sources, I wouldn’t have been able to make some changes in time!
The fact that Melanie’s services are free may seem too good to be true, but it’s not! Never once did I feel pressured to purchase an ancillary product that I wasn’t interested in, and Melanie always gave plenty of information as to why she recommended certain packages or purchases. I always felt incredibly informed. Melanie was always so quick to respond during all phases of our trip and planning. Especially during our trip. I had a couple questions for her outside her standard hours, and fully anticipated a response first thing the next day. She had a response to me in minutes every time!
I can’t gush about Melanie enough. It was like planning a trip with a new best friend who was just as excited as I was. You feel like her #1 priority at all times. She made everything so easy, so wonderful and we genuinely could not have had as magical of a time as we did without her! You absolutely need Melanie to plan your first, or next, trip to Disney!
If you want to take a vacation to Disneyworld and don’t want all the hassles with planning and would like to talk with someone who knows just about everything about Disney then Melanie is for you! She is awesome!
