With Hurricane Irene approaching the US several news outlets are reporting the Carnival and Royal Caribbean left San Juan today early because the port decided they needed to leave BUT they did not notify some passengers. These passengers were left there and from what I am reading online those who did not have insurance will have to pay out pocket for hotels and air back home.
