Chef Mickey’s Brunch

2023-10-04T18:00:45-04:00January 3, 2017|Dining|0 Comments

Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary resort, which is on the monorail near the Magic Kingdom theme park. My favorite thing about this buffet is not that you get to see five characters all at once (although that is amazing), but it’s that you get to eat a mixture of breakfast and lunch foods. The prices for the brunch are listed in the below photo, as well as a sampling of some of the foods offered to guests dining here. The décor of the restaurant is just like the hotel, fun, funky, and modern. There is a ton of [...]

Saying Goodbye To The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

2023-09-29T18:09:49-04:00December 30, 2015|Disney World, Hollywood Studios|0 Comments

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is saying farewell to the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. This magnificent event has been a holiday tradition at Hollywood Studios for the past 20 years. It all started when the Osborne family from Arkansas offered Disney their light display. Each year the family’s light display grew bigger and more elaborate until it grew too big for their home. So in 1995 they handed over their display to Disney which became a permanent holiday exhibition for the past 20 years. The display is made up of over five million lights and over sixty snow machines. This [...]

Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted two things: a) to be a princess and b) to experience a real life tea party. Well, when you are at Disney World, every girl is a princess, so I had that one covered, but my next goal to accomplish was experiencing the tea party! Luckily, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort offers an amazing traditional British afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room! Held from two o’clock to five o’clock every day, you can choose from a wide assortment of traditional tea fare and feel like a true royal! I [...]

Disney World is know for its amusement parks but did you know that you can find  some of the best food there? Disney dining offers something for everyone, even sushi lovers.  Not only can you find prepackaged sushi at many quick service locations, but some pretty impressive offerings at table service restaurants. During our last trip we were able to escape for an evening while grandma watched our toddlers. We knew we wanted sushi, but where? Listed below are the four options we considered for our Disney sushi date night. While this list is not exhaustive of all the delicious [...]

Top Five Disney Resort Restaurants

2013-10-30T07:00:00-04:00October 30, 2013|Dining, Disney World|0 Comments

Top Five Disney Resort Restaurants One thing that I find is overlooked in Disney is some of the amazing dining located right at your Disney resort! There came a point where I had dined at most restaurants in the Disney parks and a handful in Downtown Disney and wanted something more. We stumbled upon a couple by mistake, and searched out others the more we explored new resorts. Here is sneak peek at five of my favorites! I have many more, and I am sure I will be adding the newly re-mastered California Grill when I visit in November, [...]

Dinner at Be Our Guest

2013-07-08T11:00:00-04:00July 8, 2013|Dining, Disney World, Magic Kingdom|1 Comment

Be our Guest is the newest restaurant at Disney World which opened in Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland November 2013. It is a visually stunning restaurant. The exterior is very majestic, featuring Beast's castle which is located at the top of a rocky mountain terrain complete with snow caps and waterfall. One thing that needs to be mentioned is this restaurant doesn't have a princess vibe like some believe when they hear it has a Beauty and the Beast theme. This restaurant is all about the main man himself...the Beast. It feels almost daunting as you walk across the bridge to [...]
