I love the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite resort at Disney World in Florida. It is a wonderful resort and so magical at Christmas time. In the next few weeks the Grand Floridian Resort will be transformed for the Holidays. The Grand Floridian Resort builds a house of Gingerbread and they sell candy from it. The smell of gingerbread fills the lobby and it smells so wonderful. Gingerbread Cookies Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Makes 36 cookies Ingredients 2 sticks softened butter 2 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar, sifted 2 eggs 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 [...]

MICKEY’S JINGLE JUNGLE PARADE: Goofy, donning his best holiday wear, waves to the crowd during “Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The parade blends the spirit of Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the spirit of the holidays. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This is one of my favorite parades at Disney during the Holidays! This afternoon parade runs daily from Nov. 14, 2010, through Jan. 3, 2011. Castle Dream Lights – When daylight has passed during the holiday season, Magic Kingdom guests can [...]

So I was at Disney a few years ago for the 4th and it was fun. My husband and older son went to MK that night and I headed back to the Grand Floridian Resort with my younger son. They had the Sugar Loaf concierge lounge all set up with decorations. They had the food out and the Cast members were wearing hats. I can only post one pic here so I will post others on my blog. Anyway it is an expensive time to go to Disney because its a holiday and its the summer so it was very [...]
