Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

2017-02-16T06:00:25-05:00February 16, 2017|Disney Springs|0 Comments

One of my favorite places in Disney Springs to Explore is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar! It’s inspired by Jock Lindsey, the seaplane pilot, that helped Indiana Jones escape the jungle in “Raiders of the Lost Ark!” We only saw Jock for a brief few minutes in the movie, but thanks to Disney’s Imagineers, we can relive his experiences and adventures through his bar! The Restaurant and Bar is a replica of a 1940s float plane hanger that is full of memorabilia and aviation details. The story is that Jock landed here in Disney Springs looking for the Fountain of Youth. [...]

Early Morning Magic Hour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

2023-10-04T17:17:50-04:00November 8, 2016|Hollywood Studios|0 Comments

What is Early Morning Magic Hour? Walt Disney World offers an extra hour in various parks for Disney Resort guests. It’s a perk of paying that little extra to stay at a Disney Resort to get into the Magic Kingdom or one of the other three parks an hour before all the other guests can arrive. Walt Disney World also offers Extra Evening Magic Hours for some parks. But recently, Walt Disney World began offering the opportunity for anyone to take advantage of Early Morning Magic Hours for a price at some of their parks. Anyone can purchase tickets [...]

Hoop Dee Doo Revue – Frequently Asked Questions

2023-09-29T18:17:10-04:00May 11, 2016|Dining, Disney Travel, Disney World|0 Comments

The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a must see Dinner Show while visiting Walt Disney World! It’s a musical, vaudeville style show featuring lovable characters:  Claire de Lune, Johnny Ringo, Dolly Drew, Six Bits Slocum, Flora Long and Jim Handy! They sing, dance and joke their way right into your heart! These larger-than-life characters directly interact with the audience and even involve “volunteers” in the final performance of the night!   It’s a great way to relax and leave the business of the parks behind! My family really enjoys the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, and I receive lots of questions on [...]

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

2016-01-29T06:00:46-05:00January 29, 2016|Disney News, Disney Travel|0 Comments

You probably know that there are four theme parks at Walt Disney World in Florida: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. But did you know that Disney also has two water parks? Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are part of Walt Disney World's property, and you can add water park access right onto your theme park tickets! A water park is a great way to cool off with your family during those hot Florida summers. I visited Blizzard Beach with my family during the month of September. It was still very warm and steamy outside, and [...]

Do you love chocolate? Do you love Disney? Do you want your own personal chocolatier? Then, PLEASE, for the love of chocolate and all things Disney, do yourself a favor and visit the Ganachery, where the slogan is “the cure for the common chocolate.” Read on for more info about my visit to this brand new addition to Disney Springs. The Ganachery opened on December 15, 2015 and is a welcome addition to the ever growing Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney). Love Your Wait Time for Peter Pan’s Flight

2015-11-02T06:00:00-05:00November 2, 2015|Disney World, Magic Kingdom|0 Comments

I have a five-year-old son, so the first ride we run to when rope drops at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is Peter Pan’s Flight. If you’ve never been, this ride is located in Fantasyland across from It’s A Small World, and it is very different from traditional rides at Disney World. The ride track is above your head and you fly in a pirate ship looking down at all the popular scenes from the Peter Pan movie. Everyone loves this ride, especially the thousands of guests with you at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. On busy days, wait times for Peter [...]

Christmas Must Do’s at Walt Disney World

2014-11-17T06:00:00-05:00November 17, 2014|Disney Travel|0 Comments

Christmas is my favorite holiday and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than at Walt Disney World where there are Christmas surprises in every direction you turn! Magic Kingdom – First, don’t miss the magical transformation of Cinderella’s Castle into a frosty ice palace. The featured show in the past, Cinderella’s Holiday Wish, will be replaced this year with a ‘Frozen’ lighting ceremony, featuring characters from the instant icy classic. Queen Elsa will use her powers to transform the castle into an ice palace. This transformation usually takes place around 6:15 pm and is available to guests [...]
