Families are made of up of little ones, teens, tweens, and grandparents, and usually you go your separate ways once inside Universal. And as far as the Wizarding Worlds of Harry Potter, the little ones can’t ride most of the attractions, and the teens aren’t interested in the Flight of the Hippogriff. However, there are attractions in both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade where everyone can come together and enjoy the wonder of the Wizarding World! I suggest starting your day with a Hearty Breakfast at the Three Broomstricks or the Leaky Cauldron. There is something for everyone on the Menu!
- Shutterbuttons – Diagon Alley
Remember those moving photographs in the Harry Potter movies? Well your family can create one for yourselves! You will not want to miss out on this unique souvenir!
- Olivanders – Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade
Everyone can feel the Enchantment as they watch the wand choose the wizard! And everyone needs a wand, so be sure and stop at Olivanders!
- Florean Fortesques Ice Cream Parlor – Diagon Alley
Everyone loves Ice Cream! And since you can try unique flavors as well as familiar ones at Florean Forteques, it should be on your Family’s Schedule!
- The Knight Bus – Diagon Alley
A great photo op which should get the grumpiest of the family laughing is a stop at the Knight Bus! Dre Head may have a comment, so be sure to listen up!
- The Hogwarts Express – Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade
Your family will definitely enjoy riding this train together! The experience is different in either direction, and will be a delight for young and old!
