On November 11, 2019, two of our agents, Tonya Vega and Karen Kalinowski, were invited on the Norwegian Encore for a preview of the newest ship in Norwegian’s fleet.  The Norwegian Encore will sail to amazing destinations including: Alaska, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada & New England, Caribbean, Pacific Coastal, & Panama Canal.

The Norwegian Encore offers many different cabins to meet every travelers needs from a Haven suite to a one person studio.  Each category of stateroom offers a wide variety of choices.  The categories are: Studio, Inside, Oceanview, Balcony, Spa, Mini Suite and the Haven

 

Dining

NCL offers Freestyle dining which means when a guest is ready to dine, they go to any of the main dining room options to dine. Guest may also choose from one of the specialty dining options. Reservations are required for the specialty dining restaurants.  Specialty restaurants do charge a fee and pricing does vary per restaurant. If a guest is on the Free at Sea promotion, they will be able to use their Free at Sea specialty dining perk.

Main Dining Options

Savour, Taste, & The Manhattan Room: Offering guests an extensive menu of fresh flavors along with modern décor. All three restaurants offer the same menu. Menus will change daily.

The Local: The Local offers classic pub fare – open 24/7 

Garden Café: Buffet offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 

Specialty Dining – require dining reservations and additional fee

The Haven Restaurant: Private fine dining experience exclusively for guests of The Haven, serving unique signature dishes and wine offerings.

The Cellars –A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar

Skyline Casino Bar – Located in the casino offering special made cocktails

The Mixx Bar – This Bar is located between Taste and Savour. Perfect spot to enjoy cocktails before dinner.

Malting Whiskey Bar – Offering unique variety of international spirits with amazing ocean views.

Atrium Bar – Located in the heart of the Atrium serving a variety of beer and cocktails.

Vibe Beach Club – This 2-story, private retreat exclusively for those 18 and over. Vibe Beach Club is resplendent with incredible ocean views, hot tubs that extend over the side of the ship, and a misting water feature – ideal for relaxation. A full-service bar, chaise loungers, chilled towels and fruit platters. Passes available for purchase on board at the Guest Services desk.

Haven Lounge – Private lounge for Haven guests.

Observation Lounge – 180-degree indoor observation lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows. Offering a full-service bar.

 

Activities

Speedway – Over 1100 feet of track the Speedway is the largest racetrack at sea. Extra fees apply.

Laser Tag – Discover the secrets of the past in the resurrected lost city of Atlantis, where laser tag meets augmented reality. Hide behind ruins and run past the giant tentacles of the monstrous sea creature to complete your mission. Extra fees apply

Galaxy Pavilion – Virtual reality world filled with immersive VR experiences and thrilling simulator rides. Extra fees apply.

Aqua Park – Two multistory waterslides: Ocean Loops and Aqua Racer. These are complementary. The main pool is also in this area.

Kids’ Aqua Park – This interactive aqua park is filled with tipping water buckets, water cannons, and a waterslide.

Spa – Thermal Suite with a steam or a dip in the Vitality Pool. Check out the Salt Room and chill out in a Snow Room. Variety of spa services offered for an additional fee.

Fitness Center – State-of-the-art fitness center with gym equipment and offers a variety of fitness classes.

Entertainment – The Encore has a variety of complementary Broadway style shows. Reservations are required. Guests can reserve shows prior to their cruise through their online account. Once onboard you can make reservations from your stateroom phone or at the box office.

Social Comedy & Night Club – Nightly comedy shows and dance parties

The Cavern Club – Great music with a Beatles cover band

 

Splash Academy – Kids can enjoy complimentary creative play, active sports competitions, and engaging activities for kids of all ages.

Kids clubs are divided into different age groups: turtles ages 3-5, seals ages 6-9 and dolphins ages 10-12. Norwegian does not allow kids to move up to the next age group even if they have siblings on board.  Certain activities require a fee.  Norwegian allows children ages 10 – 12 to check in and check out on their own.
