Disney’s All New Star Wars Experience will be exciting, mesmerizing and maybe confusing to many!  Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be an immersive experience that intertwines Star Wars stories throughout the movie franchise as well as novels and comic books!  If you are a fan of the Wizarding Worlds at Universal you know that attention to detail is what makes them special.  You imagined the world as you read the books, you saw your imagination come to life in the movies, and then you lived as a Wizard when you stepped into Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley.

Hando Ohnaka

Hando Ohnaka is a pirate, former gang leader and scoundrel.   He will be greeting you as you enter the Millennium Falcon ride.   He was introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode “Dooku Captured.”    You definitely want to dig up that episode to see where his character began.    He had dealings with Plo Koon, Boba Fett, Anakin and Ahsoka within The Clone Wars.  He also has a big heart and you see that side of Hando in the TV series Star Wars Rebels.   The latest place you will meet Hando is in the new Rise of the Falcon books.  I just started Pirate’s Price in this series, and I am learning about Batuu, the Outpost and Hando’s past adventures.

 

Dok-Ondar

 Dok-Ondar is a black market antiquities collector traveling around the Outer Rim.  He was mentioned in the Solo: A Star Wars Story as being on the yacht, First Light, where Solo met with the Crimson Dawn crime lord.  You will get the whole scoop on Dok-Ondar in Marvel’s newest Star Wars Comic series, “Galaxy’s Edge”  coming out in April of 2019.

Dok-Ondar’s shop will be in Batuu and will be one of your “must dos” to find all of your souvenirs!

 

Rogue One

 

Walking through the streets of Batuu will feel a lot like Jedha City.  With its time-worn streets, strange characters, and travelers, just like you, all seeking adventure and the meaning to the Universe.  You will definitely run into many of the creatures you saw on the screen and feel the pressures of Force all around you, as well.
