Be Our Guest Breakfast

On my last visit to Walt Disney World, I was excited to experience Be Our Guest for breakfast. Let me share with you my recommendations on making reservations and a walk through of what you can expect while dining there.

Be Our Guest atmosphere

Any reservation at Be Our Guest is in high demand, so make sure to schedule your reservations 180 days in advance to secure your spot. Breakfast is served from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., but I recommend making your reservation time before the park opens, if possible. This gives you early entrance to Magic Kingdom to take pictures in front of Cinderella Castle with hardly any people in the park. If you weren’t able to get your hands on FastPasses for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Meet and Greet with Anna and Elsa, try for an 8:00 a.m. reservation on a day without morning Extra Magic Hours. There is a good chance you will be finished in time to hop in line for one of them before rope drop.

Disney World Magic Kingdom

Be Our Guest for breakfast requires a reservation, but is a counter-service meal. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, this allows you to dine inside Beast’s Castle for only one quick service credit.

Entrance to Be Our Guest

Upon arrival, you check in just to the left of the bridge entrance. They will give you a menu to look over and you proceed to the castle. Once inside, a friendly cast member will direct you to the next available kiosk and assist you if needed. This is where you will place your order and pay. Ordering at the kiosk is easy. Scan your MagicBand or Magic Rose. Then use the touchscreen to select which guest you are ordering for, touch the picture of your entree selection and choose a drink. Another option available is pre-ordering. This can be done on My Disney Experience as early as 30 days prior to your dining date. Pre-ordering is a great idea because you can bypass the kiosk line and make your payment in a shorter line, saving you time.

Ordering at Be Our Guest

Once you have completed your order, the kiosk prompts you to proceed to one of the three dining rooms – the Grand Ballroom, the West Wing or the Rose Gallery – and place the Magic Rose and your receipt on the table of your choice. Magic Roses are given to guests that do not have MagicBands, so no worries if you didn’t receive one. Once you have found your table, help yourself to silverware, napkins and your selected beverage at the self-serve drink station.

After a short wait, your food will be wheeled out to you on a cart.

Food arrives at Be Our Guest

We ordered Vegetable Quiche (mushroom, zucchini, bell pepper, onion and chive quiche) and Croissant Doughnut (fried doughnut topped with banana-caramel sauce, pastry crème, and chocolate ganache) Both were delicious! Our entrees were served with fresh fruit – melon, grapes and a strawberry – as well as a plate of pastries to share, including croissants, mini muffins, a cinnamon roll and danish. There was more food than the two of us could finish. We were stuffed and completely satisfied with our breakfast. Several other entree and kid menu selections are available to choose from, with something that’s sure to please everyone in your party.
