BreakfastPlazaInn

There are three great things about eating the breakfast buffet at Disneyland Park’s Plaza Inn. There is great history in the restaurant, delicious food, and delightful characters for you to meet.

  1. History: What better place to begin your day at the Disneyland Park than at one of the original restaurants! Plaza Inn, originally named the Red Wagon Inn and one of Walt Disney’s favorite places to dine in the park was decorated by Walt’s wife, Lillian Disney. She used Victorian stained glass, marble, and ornate gingerbread woodwork all salvaged from an historic Los Angeles home. The result is a beautiful, but warm backdrop to your “most important meal of the day”.
  1. Food: Rest assured the breakfast won’t simply have great decorations. There is also some great food! The meal is served as a hearty buffet with Mickey Waffles, an Omelet Station, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy, French Toast, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes, Fruit, Pastries, and Cereals. Beverages are also included. And the breakfast is “all-you-care-to-enjoy”!
  1. Characters: What you may want to know, though, is about the characters! There are tons of characters! They do rotate and not all the same characters are always there, but this is one of those Character Dining Experiences where I’ve seen more characters in one place than ever before. Minnie Mouse is always in attendance. It is, after all, called “Minnie and Friends- Breakfast in the Park”. But, you may also meet Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Rafiki. The characters at Plaza Inn walk from table to table and take plenty of time to visit with their guests. They are open to signing autographs and taking pictures with your camera. Character Dining is a great way to see characters at Disneyland without standing in lines.
