Hi! I’m Angela Edwards, a Birmingham-based travel advisor with Travel With The Magic, specializing in Disney Destinations, European vacations, cruises, and Travel advisor Angela Edwards visiting Walt Disney World personalized family travel.

I grew up in Florida, and some of my earliest memories are from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I may or may not have gotten my head stuck between the slats of the balcony, but that’s neither here nor there. The first glimpse of Cinderella Castle still makes me emotional nearly 40 years later, and it’s that same excitement I love sharing with my clients.
From Disney Vacations to a Career in Travel
As a military spouse and mom of two young kids, I wanted a career I could make my own while having the flexibility to be there for my children, sometimes while parenting alone for months at a time.
I had been considering starting my own travel business for several years, but there were a few roadblocks along the way.
In 2019, I connected with Kelly and Travel With The Magic, and the rest is history… sort of.
Building a travel business in 2020 was certainly an adventure, but I refused to give up on my clients or my team. Today, I have the privilege of helping families plan vacations while also supporting other travel advisors as they build their businesses with Travel With The Magic.
I feel most fulfilled when I’m helping people, and travel has always been something I’m passionate about. Bringing those two things together has been incredibly rewarding.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of planning vacations for hundreds of families, and one thing I’ve learned is that no two vacations are exactly alike.

Too often, I see people crowdsourcing their vacation plans on Facebook. There’s nothing wrong with asking for suggestions, but sometimes people confidently share incorrect information or recommend something simply because it worked for their own family.
And their favorite resort, cruise ship, or destination might not be the right fit for you.
I want to get to know your family, your travel style, your priorities, and what you hope to experience on your vacation. Those details help me make recommendations that actually make sense for you.

Disney, European Travel & Cruise Planning
Walt Disney World was my first love and the destination that originally inspired my passion for travel planning.
I have extensive experience planning Disney vacations and European travel, and I understand how overwhelming a first visit to either destination can feel.
There are so many decisions to make, and it can be difficult to know where to begin.
I enjoy helping clients sort through those options, build itineraries that fit their interests, and understand what to expect before they travel.
One of my most memorable recent experiences was an Alaska cruise. The scenery was stunning, and seeing humpback whales, orcas, and other wildlife in their natural habitat was something I’ll never forget.
Experiencing a destination firsthand gives me an opportunity to bring that knowledge back to my clients. It also helps me understand why one cruise line, ship, or itinerary may be a better fit for a particular family than another.
While Disney was where my travel career began, I work with dozens of different suppliers because I want to continue helping my clients as their families grow and their travel interests change.

One of my favorite parts of this career is getting to know my clients and their families over the years.
I’ve helped families plan their first big vacations, milestone birthdays, honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, and trips that bring multiple generations together.
From a child’s first visit to Walt Disney World to a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, I understand that these vacations often represent something much bigger than simply getting away.
I never take it lightly when someone trusts me to help plan an important celebration or experience for their family.

Angela was great in helping us oldsters navigate the “new” WDW. We were last there in 2017 and 2000 before that so we have seen a lot of changes.. I think planning a post pandemic trip is especially challenging with increased crowds even during the “slow” periods. She got us a discount even after we booked and got our dining reservations including the new Fantasmic package which she got for us before many knew it was even out yet. Without kids this time. we were all about making things easy and Angela certainly helped with that. She advised us on the best way to get Space 220 and using her suggestions we got it and it was amazing! She also walked us through getting ILL for ROR which worked out great even though we had a mix up.. She also responded very quickly to our many questions and helped make our visit one we will always remember. Thanks so much, Angela!
Angela helped us make our first trip back to Disney after the pandemic our most outstanding trip yet!
She introduced us to the new technologies, helped us get dining reservations, and even got us a coveted spot at Treats and Seats for our boys first Magic Kingdom fireworks.
Having her help was invaluable and I can’t wait to plan our next trip!
Angela did it again! She planned a great last-minute spring break vacation for my family of 6 at Universal Orlando. She was responsive, accomodating and extremely helpful with the last minute details. This is the second time we have used Angela for planning our Orlando vacation and definitely will use her agin. Angela was awesome to work with for our Christmas at Disney 2021! She walked us through any questions we had, set up our dining reservations and continually checked for any openings, added another room last minute, and helped us out while we were at the parks (among many other things). Highly recommend her to anyone planning a Disney vacation!

We just got back from our Disney trip & couldn’t be more thrilled with everything!! Angela made it so easy to show up and with all the reservations taken care of we could start enjoying Disney right away! She helped me become familiar with the My Disney Experience app that I felt confident using it throughout the whole trip (truly makes everything SUPER EASY!). I love planning the activities but she also had a lot of helpful suggestions and timelines that we used for each day! I truly cannot recommend her enough!! Disney is a fun trip, but not always a “vacation” for parents, she made sure to take as much stress out as possible! It was our 20 month olds first time and we really did enjoy ourselves! She made sure to check in even while we were there and did help out with a few things which was fantastic! She makes sure it is a magical experience for the kids & parents, thank you thank you Angela! We will be using you for our next trip to Disney whenever that maybe!!

Angela was instrumental in helping us plan a magical birthday trip for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Having never been, I was overwhelmed at all the options and was so grateful for a pro to help walk us through it all. She was able to get us last minute reservations at Space 220 and it was definitely my daughters favorite part. She made sure we had the best possible experience and cannot thank her enough.
Angela was extremely helpful and I would not have been able to plan a last minute Disney vacation without her! Angela was very responsive with emails and spent a long time walking me through Disney and our plans via the phone. We had an issue with getting our magic bands and Angela came to the rescue! After an extremely long and frustrating call with Disney, Angela was able to arrange for me to re-select our bands and get them sent to the hotel in time for our arrival! All of her tips and tricks were so helpful. We used her tips and were able to score getting onto the Rise of the Resistance! Angela is the Fairy Godmother of Disney travel! She managed every detail of my family’s trip with prompt informative responses and professionalism. A few days before our trip, my mother broke her ankle. Angela was able to accommodate her needs, securing a handicapped friendly hotel room, wheelchair and scooter. She checked in frequently during our trip. Although she exceeded all of our expectations, she asked for feedback. I am impressed with her knowledge and her extreme patience throughout the entire process.
