2015-09-02T06:00:00-04:00September 2, 2015|Travel Destinations|0 Comments

This summer we camped in our RV at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and it was one of our best camping trips to date. We were very surprised how nice the campgrounds are at John Pennekamp. There are 47 full hookup sites that are very well maintain. The park amenities include fishing, swimming, picnicking, and a visitor center which includes an aquarium. We were in walking distance to Cannon Beach, the marina, aquarium, dive shop, and kayak rentals. There are also several hotels in the area. John Pennekamp is one of the true treasures in the Florida Keys. John [...]

Last month I was fortunate enough to go on an awesome family vacation to Mexico! We stayed at the beautiful all-inclusive Paraiso Lindo Resort in Riviera Maya, just 30 minutes south of Cancun! This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort and I learned so much! The rooms were more than spacious! Even with sharing the room with two other adults, we always had enough space for everyone to be comfortable! There were always plenty of towels in the bathroom and the beds were always adorned with the cutest towel animals after being made every day by housekeeping! I [...]

The most fun you never knew you were going to have!

2015-05-20T06:00:00-04:00May 20, 2015|Travel Destinations|0 Comments

On our recent NCL Jewel cruise to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel, we decided to book the Gumbalimba Animal Sanctuary excursion through NCL. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the reviews were good, so we took our chances and this excursion ended up being the highlight of our cruise! Our meeting time for the excursion was not until 11:45. We left the ship early to explore the shopping area at the port. There were plenty of shops to choose from including Diamonds International, a Duty Free store, and a Harley-Davidson store, as well as many local craftsmen and artists. Our [...]

It’s a long flight from the U.S., but well worth it. 1. Museums- Most people have heard of the Louvre. It’s one of the most famous museums in the world having been featured in many movies. [...]
