Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary resort, which is on the monorail near the Magic Kingdom theme park. My favorite thing about this buffet is not that you get to see five characters all at once (although that is amazing), but it’s that you get to eat a mixture of breakfast and lunch foods.

The prices for the brunch are listed in the below photo, as well as a sampling of some of the foods offered to guests dining here.

The décor of the restaurant is just like the hotel, fun, funky, and modern. There is a ton of natural light, and plenty of room to move around near the buffet.

The five characters come around in a certain order to your table. You can see them coming ahead of time, so this helped us to know when to stay put in our chairs or when we had time to make another trip to the buffet. My daughter finally has started loving the characters, and they did a great job interacting with her. Lots of hugs, high fives, and kisses went on that day!

On to the food! There were delicious chocolate chip pancakes, and of course, Mickey waffles! You can also see ham in the below photo. There was also a hash brown casserole, salmon, and eggs. Lots of options!

There was also a selection for kids such as chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, tater tots, and sausage.

Desserts are not to be forgotten about here! They had breakfast type items like cinnamon rolls and bagels, as well as ice cream, cakes, and cookies.

Overall we had a great experience at Chef Mickey’s brunch, and for the opportunity to see the fab five all at once, it’s a great deal if you don’t like waiting in lines at the parks to get character photos and signatures. I’m sure we will be back!
