My family has been Disney Florida resident passholders since 2002. We live two hours south of Walt Disney World and try to go as often as we can.
Florida Residents have 6 options when it comes to annual passes; Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Weekday Select, and The Epcot after 4 Pass. My family chose The Silver Pass, which is blocked out during the busiest times of the year, because we prefer to go during the off season.
With so many options it can be a bit confusing. Here is a breakdown of each option so you can choose the best passes for your family.
Disney’s Platinum Plus Pass gives you one-year park hopper admission to all 4 Disney World theme parks, admission to Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon, admission to Disney’s Oak Trail golf course, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, PhotoPass, special discounts on Disney resorts, dining & merchandise, standard parking at theme parks, complimentary MagicBands, and exclusive passholder communications.

Disney’s Epcot after 4 Pass only allows access to Epcot after 4pm for one year. This pass gives you complimentary MagicBands, special discounts on Disney resorts, dining & merchandise, standard parking, and exclusive passholder merchandise.
My family and I have really enjoyed the benefits of being passholders. Disney has budget friendly options and you can either pay upfront or spread the payments into 12 monthly payments. If your family loves Disney as much my family, then becoming a passholder is well worth it. You can select the pass that best fits your family’s needs and start enjoying Disney year-round.
My name is Tonya Vega and I have been a Disney passholder for over 14 years. I have also sailed with Disney Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival Cruise Lines. I would love to help plan your next family vacation. My services are complimentary. Contact me at Tonyav@travelwiththemagic.com
