Hi, I am Lyndlee Johnson. Travel has always been a passion of mine. When I was young, my family would go on road trips for rodeos and roping events. I got to see so many beautiful places. After college, I met my husband, and we began traveling frequently to his home state, California. Then, as our family grew, we started our favorite travel adventure, Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
My husband and I visited Walt Disney World for the first time in 2024 to commemorate our oldest child’s finalized adoption. He and his brother often asked to go see Mickey Mouse, and we were happy to oblige. Every time I visit Walt Disney World, I get to re-experience that feeling of becoming a family of four. That is why it holds such a special place in my heart. Walt Disney World isn’t just a theme park to me. It is a core memory, a beautiful piece of my family’s story. I love seeing Disney through my children’s eyes; the sweet moments that become the biggest part of the trip. My husband and I cherish the memory of watching my youngest son’s eyes light up as he jumped up and down in excitement for his favorite ride: the bus that takes you from the resort to the park.
We didn’t realize when we planned our first Walt Disney World trip that we would become such big Figment fans. Here we are, two years and several trips later, always talking about the next time we will get to visit EPCOT and see the little purple dragon at Journey Into Imagination with Figment. Every time we go to Disney, we are taking a different version of those sweet boys who jumped and squealed when they saw Cinderella’s Castle. On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World, we got to take our sweet little girl for the first time. She learned to wave while watching Merida at the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park. After years of travel with multiple small children, it is safe to say I am a pro at traveling with young kids. Over the years, I have learned the tips and tricks to keep the most magical vacation as tantrum-free as possible.
Disneyland is also special to my family because it is where my husband went in his youth. Getting to take your kids to a place that was special to you as a child and see them relive something you treasured growing up is truly special. We loved seeing Bing Bong at the Pixar Place Hotel, meeting Minnie Mouse in Mickey’s Toontown, and riding Chip’n Dale’s Gaget Coaster four times in a row. The weather was perfect, and the food was amazing. Attending Oogie Boogie Bash- A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park is one of our favorite Halloween memories. My youngest is obsessed with Cars Land. To this day, he still talks about how he drove a spinning tractor at Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
A trip to a Disney theme park is not just a vacation to me. It’s a chance for families to celebrate, reconnect, make memories, and have fun together. I joined the Travel with the Magic team to help others get what my family got from our Disney vacation adventures. I am honored to walk clients through each step of the planning process. My job is to keep the stress low so there is more room for Disney magic. I know Walt Disney World can seem overwhelming at first because there are so many wonderful, fun, delicious, and exciting things to experience. I am happy to personalize your next vacation to be exactly what you need.
If you are ready to experience the magic of Walt Disney World and Disneyland, I am ready to plan!
