No matter what dining plan you select each one has a common denominator, snack credits. Many of my clients are confused about these and often times have a lot of them leftover at the end of their trip. Below is an abbreviated list I’ve compiled of some of my favorite snacks that are some of the best ways to use your credits and since you are at Disney World don’t worry about the calories! Please know that items in a souvenir cup are not considered a snack, but those same items in standard packaging are.

10. Beignets – Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

As a fan favorite, for some clients this is their reason for staying at this resort and who can blame them? Served hot in a big pile and covered in honey and sugar, it’s not secret why they are so popular.

9. Anything during the Food & Wine Festival – Epcot

During this yearly festival kiosks are set up around World Showcase that offer mini-meals that qualify as a snack credit. This is a great way to sample food you might not normally try and get a huge bang for the credit.

8. Karamell-Küche – Epcot, World Showcase – Germany

Anything here is worthy of your credit, but the caramel corn that is popped fresh daily and smothered with Werther’s is just amazing! Make sure to stop in to see them making it and for a free sample.

7. Mickey rice krispies – Throughout Property

A classic staple in most households, but Disney takes it up a level. As a child during each Disney trip this was a must have for me every time we traveled.

6. Mickey pretzel – Kiosks in each park

These oversized pretzels are the perfect afternoon pick me up and cooked to perfection. Make sure you grab something to drink and don’t forget the mustard!

5. Novelty Ice Cream – Throughout property

Disney offers a few different signature ice cream selections, one of my favorites is the frozen chocolate covered banana as well as the classic Mickey premium ice cream bar and we can’t forget the Mickey ice cream sandwich. On a hot day these are the perfect way to cool down!

4. Cupcakes – Walt Disney World Property

Offered in multiple locations throughout property, each resort offers their own gigantic specialty themed cupcake and so does each park. My only complaint about these is they are so big you need to be prepared to share!

3. LeFou’s Brew – Gaston’s Tavern, Magic Kingdom

This unique combination of no-sugar added frozen apple juice has a hint of toasted marshmallows and is topped with all-natural passion fruit-mango foam and is perfectly paired with my next favorite.

2. Cinnamon Rolls – Starring Rolls Café, Hollywood Studios & Gaston’s Tavern, Magic Kingdom

As with many of the other snack options I’ve listed these beauties are HUGE, seriously they will feed 3 people easily. Served warm and covered with icing these fluffy sweet treats are the perfect start to your day if you aren’t into a large breakfast.

1. Dole Whip – Aloha Isle Refreshments – Adventureland, Magic Kingdom & Pineapple Lanai, Polynesian Village Resort

This soft serve frozen dessert is my favorites and one thing everyone should try at least once in one of the many forms offered. The only other places to find these gems is Disneyland and at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii!

In addition to these favorites, I’ve got a few of honorable mentions: funnel cakes , Rainbow Kakigori (shaved ice) in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot as well as any of the treats Sleepy Hollow serves in the Magic Kingdom.
