Be Our Guest for Breakfast

2015-11-11T06:00:00-05:00November 11, 2015|Disney World, Magic Kingdom|0 Comments

On my last visit to Walt Disney World, I was excited to experience Be Our Guest for breakfast. Let me share with you my recommendations on making reservations and a walk through of what you can expect while dining there.   Any reservation at Be Our Guest is in high demand, so make sure to schedule your reservations 180 days in advance to secure your spot. Breakfast is served from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., but I recommend making your reservation time before the park opens, if possible. This gives you early entrance to Magic Kingdom to take pictures in [...]

Disney Cruise vs. Walt Disney World

2015-11-09T06:00:00-05:00November 9, 2015|Disney Cruise Line, Disney World|0 Comments

When planning a vacation, a lot of people just know they want to “do Disney”, but a lot of people get stuck on trying to decide between Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line. The first thing I say is “do both!” You can do a 3-4 night cruise and spend 3-4 days in Walt Disney World and have the best of both. However, if that is not possible, here are some things that might help you decide which to do.   Disney Cruise Line Advantages: 1.) Relaxation: When I think about a cruise, I think of relaxation, laying [...]

What Happens If It Rains During The Sailing Away Party?

2015-11-06T06:00:00-05:00November 6, 2015|Disney Cruise Line|0 Comments

One of the most exciting things on the first day of a Disney cruise is the Sailing Away Deck party. We recently sailed on the Disney Dream and we were exited to attend the party on deck. The Sailing Away party is held after the mandatory life boat drill. After the drill we started to make our way to deck 11 for the party when it started to rain. We were so disappointed until the crew members told us not to worry the party would be held in the main lobby on deck 3. We made our way to deck [...]

Magic Bands? What the heck are magic bands? Magic Bands are, well, magic. They are your Disney resort room key, ticket into the parks, and can even be equipped with charging abilities for food and merchandise! They also give you FastPass+ access to walk onto your favorite rides, hold your dining credits, AND are even linked to any photos you might take with Disney’s photographers during your park adventures. 1. How do you receive these magical instruments of fun? Well, first, book your Disney vacation package! This is where I, or your favorite Travel With The Magic agent comes into [...]

Tips For Turning Reading into a Vacation!

2015-11-03T06:00:00-05:00November 3, 2015|Travel Destinations|0 Comments

A great way to encourage reading is for your kids to earn their way to a vacation destination!  Kids love watching a movie or playing video games, but reading, unfortunately, has become the media of last resort. So, you have to find a way to turn reading, or the Reading Fair, into a challenge with an award for completing the book.  This move will create enthusiasm and engage your family in planning a vacation together! One of the most popular family vacations is the Harry Potter Experience at Universal!  This adventure appeals to the kid in all of us, and [...]

Love Your Wait Time for Peter Pan’s Flight

2015-11-02T06:00:00-05:00November 2, 2015|Disney World, Magic Kingdom|0 Comments

I have a five-year-old son, so the first ride we run to when rope drops at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is Peter Pan’s Flight. If you’ve never been, this ride is located in Fantasyland across from It’s A Small World, and it is very different from traditional rides at Disney World. The ride track is above your head and you fly in a pirate ship looking down at all the popular scenes from the Peter Pan movie. Everyone loves this ride, especially the thousands of guests with you at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. On busy days, wait times for Peter [...]
