A trip to Batuu and the Black Spire Outpost would not be complete without trying the local food! And since I love to eat snacks, I tried them all! Here are my top 4 snack stops at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge!
- Docking Bay 7
I love chocolate desserts, and I love raspberry desserts; and lucky for me, Docking Bay 7 has both!
The Batuu-bon is a chocolate cake bite with white chocolate mousse and coffee custard. So very good for the chocolate lover!
And if you like a little tart with your sweets, the Oi-Oi Puff has the perfect blend of raspberry crème puff with a passion fruit mousse.
These two snacks were definitely made for pampering the tired, weary traveler like me!
- Ronto Roasters
I always find that at some point in the day, I need a little more protein, and Ronto Roasters has the perfect pick-me-up jerky!
Nuna Turkey Jerky (Nunas are a bird from Naboo) comes in sweet or spicy. I’d definitely go for the spicy: It’s not a hot spicy but a flavorful spicy. And pair it with a Tatooine Sunset, a lemonade/tea drink, for the perfect afternoon boost!
- Kat Saka’s Kettle
Kat Saka, the local grain merchant, has created a favorite local specialty popcorn called Outpost Mix. It has 2 different colors of popcorn, red and purple, that boost a sweet and savory flavor.
Personally, I loved the purple, and found myself eating those first! You can grab a Coke, Diet
Coke or Sprite in the shape of a Thermal Detonator here as well! Popcorn always need a soft drink, anyway!
- Milk Stand
If you recall, Luke Skywalker was seen drinking Blue Milk in A New Hope and Green Milk in The Last Jedi. You can purchase both of these drinks at the Milk Stand! As a visitor to Batuu, you really must try these unique drinks of the galaxy. You need to sip both to see which one you like because everyone has different taste buds. And since you will need to buy both, ask the Cast Member for an extra cup and create a perfect blend of them both!
I personally enjoyed Blue Milk and thought it was very refreshing on a hot day. In fact, I had it more than once! Even though I didn’t like the taste of the Green Milk, I did love the two mixed together!
