In addition to taking top honors for its family cruise experience, this is the eighth consecutive year Disney Cruise Line has ranked among the top five Large-Ship Cruise Lines overall in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards readers’ survey. Winners were selected by readers who participated in a survey and rated cruise lines on criteria including cabins, food, service, itineraries and destinations, activities and value.

Disney Dream & Fantasy add Remy champagne brunch

An elegant Champagne Brunch is now being served at Remy onboard two Disney Cruise Line® ships – Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. The brunch, featuring French-inspired cuisine, is available during at-sea days on sailings of 4-nights or longer. ©Disney Cruise Line Remy Champagne Brunch costs $50 per person for Guests ages 18 and older. A wine pairing is also available during brunch for an additional $25. At this time, Guests may only book reservations for the Remy Champagne Brunch while onboard. Changes to Disney Cruise Line Galveston sailings

Disney Cruise Line has changed some itineraries for Galveston sailings. There will now be an 8 night sailing offered on select weeks that includes stops at Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral (with a 1 day park hopper ticket) and Key West instead of the Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel itinerary. There will also be some 4 night sailings. Disney is currently contacting those who already had bookings on the dates affected by the changes and getting them rebooked. The latest reports from the National Weather Service indicate Tropical Storm Ernesto will strengthen into a hurricane on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, as it moves toward the Western Caribbean. The storm is currently predicted to be near Grand Cayman on Monday as it makes its way towards Cozumel.
