Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Rooms

2014-05-06T07:00:00-04:00May 6, 2014|Disney World, Epcot|

Disney’s Yacht Club resort quietly sits along the lake next to the Beach Club resort in Walt Disney World. It is a deluxe resort, and a favorite among those who are particularly fond of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, as both are walking distance from this resort.             The rooms at the Yacht club are all connected in one large building, with many view categories to choose from. Most rooms come with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper, but there are other configurations as well including keep beds and handicap accessible rooms. The rooms have [...]

Chefs de France Restaurant at Epcot’s France Pavilion

2014-04-08T07:00:00-04:00April 8, 2014|Disney Travel, Disney World, Epcot|

The France pavilion in Epcot is one of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World. I love walking along the sidewalks and back into the gardens and buildings (especially at night) and taking in the French music, architecture and atmosphere. Another reason I love this pavilion is Chefs de France. This has become a must dining experience for our family over the years. Chefs de France is located right at the front of the pavilion and serves both lunch and dinner. This restaurant was actually created for Epcot by three of France’s top chefs: Paul Bocouse (whose son [...]

Epcot: Japan Pavilion

2014-03-14T07:00:00-04:00March 14, 2014|Disney World, Epcot|

It's no secret I'm a huge Epcot fan! I absolutely love it! My family usually spends DAYS touring Epcot. People are often surprised by this as the misconception is there's not a lot for kids to do but I completely disagree! One of my favorite things to do at Epcot is to walk around World Showcase. I love strolling around, feeling completely immersed as I go in and out of each of the countries. One of my favorite pavilions to visit is Japan and here are some reasons why! Khaki Gori: I love this stuff and to be honest, I'm [...]

Secrets of Epcot

2014-01-31T07:00:00-05:00January 31, 2014|Disney Travel, Disney World, Epcot|

Now that we’ve taken a look at some of the Imagineering secrets and little known facts of the Magic Kingdom lands let’s hop on a monorail over and explore Epcot. Fun facts abound here as well! The sidewalks twinkle at night. Take the path to the right after the Spaceship Earth and you’ll see them. The gardens throughout Epcot are the most extensive in all of Walt Disney World and are cared for by a team of 700 horticulturists. Spaceship Earth is not a big golf ball! It is actually two separate spherical structures, one inside the other. The outside [...]

Tokyo Dining

2014-01-24T07:00:00-05:00January 24, 2014|Dining, Disney World, Epcot|

It's no secret my favorite park to visit is Epcot and one of my favorite things to do at Epcot is... eat! Where else can you go from country to country sampling cuisine from around the World? You pretty much can't go wrong with any of the restaurants at Epcot and it's nice to have so many to choose from which makes it easier to land a reservation. My family had dined at Teppan Edo several times and we really enjoyed it but I wanted to try something different so I decided to go with Tokyo Dining. Tokyo Dining and [...]

Fireworks Cruises at Disney World

2013-12-30T07:00:00-05:00December 30, 2013|Disney World, Epcot, Magic Kingdom|

If you are looking for a wonderful, unique experience while at Disney World I have a suggestion...try a Fireworks Cruise! Fireworks cruises are offered not only to view Magic Kingdom's Wishes fireworks but also for IllumiNations at Epcot as well. Whether you are interested in a romantic evening with that special someone or want to get away with friends or as a family, you can't go wrong with a fireworks cruise! Each pontoon comes with a driver, snacks (pretzels, chips, granola bars and such) and non-alcoholic beverages such as soda and bottled water. The pontoon boats set sail from various [...]

Epcot’s Sum of All Thrills

2013-12-23T07:00:00-05:00December 23, 2013|Disney World, Epcot|

For starters, I must admit that my family is a bunch of roller coaster fanatics. When they found out that they could design, test, and ride their own roller coaster simulation, they were thrilled. If this sounds like an experience that your family would enjoy, please make sure you visit The Sum of All Thrills at Innoventions East at Epcot. You must be 48” to ride. The first thing you will do is go to the briefing room to watch a video on how to design your roller coaster. You will then enter the design area where your inner engineer [...]
