Disney’s Animal Kingdom is tucked away on the corner of Disney property, surrounded by Savannah’s of Giraffe, Zebra, and many other animals. This is one of the most themed resorts on property, and has beautiful guest rooms. The villas are spacious and have a lot of character. Just check out my photos and you will see why you should stay here!

Animal Kingdom Lodge villa

First of all, one, two, and three bedroom villas are a great option for larger families, or any family that wants more space and a little more privacy. The one, two, and three bedroom villas all have a full kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer combo. In the two bedroom unit, the kitchen and living area was in the middle with the master on the left and second bedroom on the right. There was a third bathroom as you walked in, then you came right into the kitchen/bar area. The kitchen is small but adequate, and I loved the theming.

It is open to the living room which has a table and chairs, sofa that pulls out into a bed, and a chair. Also notice the huge TV!

I loved the coffee table and pictures above the sofa.

Even though the furniture feels dark and heavy, the room itself felt bright enough with the sun pouring through the large glass windows and door.

The balcony spammed the length of the unit, so there is plenty of space for the whole family to watch for animal sightings.

The master was large and had a luxurious king sized bed.

My favorite part however was the master bath. It was huge, and had an adorable scene from the Lion King wrapped around the shower and tub.

Over on the other side of the villa was another bedroom and bathroom. The secondary bedroom will either be made up of two queen beds, or, like a deluxe studio as shown below (one bed and sofa sleeper). It also had a small table and chairs, TV, and kitchenette. (Please note the rooms that have two queen beds do NOT have a kitchenette).

The savannah view was very unique, and it is something you can’t find at any other resort on property. There are also rooms that don’t face the savannah, but don’t worry, there are other viewing spots at the hotel!
