Disney’s California Adventure newest ride, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout open officially opened to the public on May 27, 2017. This highly anticipated attraction is everything you imagine it to be and more. You must ride this ride several times to get the full effect, six times to be exact. There are 6 different songs that play along with six different rider profiles. These experiences are unique. This attraction is in the same area where Tower of Terror once was located at Disney’s California Adventure theme park in Hollywood land. Some may say Tower of Terror and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout attractions are similar rides for the fact they both provide a free fall adventure, but hands down the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout is a ride like no other. It is longer, has more drops and is much more suspenseful!! There are many upgrades and surprises found at this attraction from the moment you stand in line until you reach the ride itself. Make sure to take your time and look at all the details found throughout your Guardians of the Galaxy adventure. You get to join Rocket on an exciting mission to rescue the Guardians of the Galaxy from high up the Collector’s fortress. You must be 3.35 feet tall or over to experience this thrilling attraction. Fast passes are available for this attraction and I would highly encourage you to go and get fast pass for this ride as it is very popular with the teens and adults already. After you ride this galactic ride, you must take part in the Guardians of the Galaxy Dance Off bash! The Galaxy Dance Off is where get the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic Playlist from Peter Quill’s prized boom box, as well as an opportunity to meet and dance with some of your favorite Summer of Heroes. The Dance Off is offered several times a day, so you will have lots of chances to strut your stuff. Also make sure to check out Super Hero Encounters, for the first-time citizens of Earth will come face-to-face with Groot (One of the Guardians of the Galaxy), Captain America (The First Avenger), along with everyone’s favorite superhero, Spiderman. You can also take part in the Avenger Training Initiative, where Black Widow and Hawkeye observe young recruits and put them through a series of tests to see if they have what it takes to join the ranks of the Avengers. These incredible events and extras are all part of Hero up during the Summer of Heroes for the dates of May 27, 2017 – September 10, 2017.
