Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
On select nights in November and December, the Magic Kingdom hosts a special ticketed event, a party to be exact. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a very special event with activities the whole family can enjoy.
Upon entering the park, you will be given a special wristband showing that you are indeed there for the party.
Be sure to pick up a guide map as well. It will tell you all of the locations and times for special events throughout the park. Look for these giant candy canes if you are ready for some hot cocoa and cookies. They are on the house and available all night long.
I may have had about four or five cocoa’s myself.
The park looks spectacular for the event, and so do the cast members in their cheery holiday garb.
Keep your eyes peeled for special holiday touches all throughout the park.
One of my favorite things was a special stage show in Tomorrowland. Stitch helped save Christmas, and there were special appearances by Mike Wazowski and Buzz Lightyear.
Also, you can find your favorite characters dressed in their holiday best to take photos with you at select locations (find them on your map)
Not to be missed are the special Holiday Wishes fireworks about Cinderella Castle. There is only one show, so be sure to get a good spot on Main street.
The most breath taking thing of the night in my opinion are the gorgeous icicles that can be found adorning the castle. They are beautiful, and pictures just don’t do them justice.
Another not to miss event the Christmas parade. here you will see all of your favorite characters all decked out for the holidays, singing and dancing and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit.
The toy soldiers are my favorite part.
Santa Clause closes out the parade in the last float, a magical touch to a great show.
In the mood to boogie? There are a few locations where you can dance the night away with your favorite characters. Just check out the guide map for details.
A new addition for this year is the Jingle Cruise. The holidays took over the Jungle Cruise, and the jokes are even cornier than ever before, but now with a holiday twist.
On top of all of this fun, you can experience your favorite Magic Kingdom attractions with little to no wait time!
My favorite part of the whole night was as we were walking towards the exit down Main street. it started to “snow” and everyone stopped to stare, smile, and take pictures. It was truly such a magical moment and one I will never forget.
