At The Void

The galaxy needs you! Recruit 3 friends to go with you undercover, deep into the Empire, to retrieve intelligence vital to the Rebellion’s survival!

Are you ready to help the Rebellion? Then here are the details…

The Void is located next door to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disney Springs.

Even though you can purchase tickets at The Void, It’s best to buy your tickets online in order to get the time slot that you want. You purchase tickets at https://www.thevoid.com/ for $29.95 each regardless of age.

Tip:  You must be 10 years or older AND 48 inches tall. Everyone is required to sign a waiver before you are given your arm band. Your band identifies you to your equipment and the action.

You enter the experience in Groups of 4. If you have a family of 5 or more, you will be split up. So, keep that in mind and make sure a parent is with each group. You are going undercover as Stormtroopers, so you are led to monitors where you can personalize your armor with various colors. Then you are given your mission – to steal intel from the Empire.

Next, You will put on a Vest and Helmet/Headset. The Vest and Helmet are a little heavy so it’s good to have a parent to help younger ones with the experience.

Tip: There are two nobs to secure the helmet. The Headset works best when the helmet is screwed on tight and doesn’t move around. You can wear your prescription glasses, too, just be sure you are comfortable before you leave the staging area. There are shelves for you to leave packages and backpacks.

Once all the equipment is on, you begin the virtual experience! The experience is total immersion with sight, sound, touch and smell. You see your teammates as Stormtroopers and your surroundings seem real. You are required to interact with the environment, solve problems, walk and move around the set, and even return fire when you are attacked!

Tip: It can be disorienting at first and hard to move around. I can see if you get dizzy easy, it may not be for you.

I was blown away! It was unique and unlike any experience at any of the parks. No Spoilers here though – I want you to experience the story as it is unveiled to you! It is a must do for any Star Wars Fan!

Tip: Don’t forget to get your photo at the end! It is an experience to remember!
