Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary resort, which is on the monorail near the Magic Kingdom theme park. My favorite thing about this buffet is not that you get to see five characters all at once (although that is amazing), but it’s that you get to eat a mixture of breakfast and lunch foods. The prices for the brunch are listed in the below photo, as well as a sampling of some of the foods offered to guests dining here. The décor of the restaurant is just like the hotel, fun, funky, and modern. There is a ton of [...]
You know, any trip to Disneyland is a good trip! You just can’t go wrong at Walt Disney’s original theme park! My very first trip to Disneyland was when I was 40 years old. My husband finally got up the nerve to take the whole family and we planned the trip to fit our minimal budget. Get your camera ready! For one week January 21, 2013 - January 27, 2013 some of our favorite Disney characters will be returning. This is your chance to see classic characters such as Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, the Three Little Pigs, and more! I opened up my "Disney vault" and pulled out some pics of me with some of the old school characters from back in 1988. Enjoy!
Tinker Bell and the rest of the "Disney Fairies" will return to the Magic Kingdom on July 28. You can meet Tink and her friends at the Adventureland Veranda in the Adventureland area of the park. The fairies will continue greeting guests at Epcot until then. For the most updated information on where to meet characters at the parks pick up a Times Guide when you arrive.

Disney was doing this for awhile around Thanksgiving and Christmas but it is more wide spread. Basically the way this works is that during certain times of year the Walt Disney World Resort will become busier and certain dining locations will see an increase in guests wanting to dine there. If you choose to travel to Disney during those dates you will pay more to eat at certain places. The cost has gone up around $4.00 per [...]
