Polynesian Village Resort Studio Villa

2015-07-29T00:18:03-05:00

Aloha! I recently had the opportunity to stay in a brand new studio villa at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Disney has made a few of the longhouses at the Polynesian Village Resort part of the Disney Vacation Club, Disney’s version of a time share. When not booked by DVC members the general public is able to book the villas and bungalows. As of now the over the water bungalows are booked solid with DVC members but the villas do [...]

Getting There – Driving vs. Flying to Walt Disney World

2019-06-03T14:10:15-05:00

I’ve often heard it said that it’s not the destination that matters but the journey. I don’t think the person who came up with that has ever been to Disney. Obviously, some people will have to fly (shout out to my Alaskan and Canadian friends). But, many of [...]

2019-05-16T14:44:49-05:00

They are saying the resort monorail will be unavailable from 1130am to 6pm daily and that extra buses and boats will be running to get guests to the Magic Kingdom. This should not effect the Epcot monorail. There are also other websites and message boards reporting that the express monorail will also [...]

Change in monorail operating hours at Disney World

2011-07-11T20:00:09-05:00

Disney announced a few days ago that they were making a change to the hours of operation of the monorail. I am hoping this means they are going to give it a "rest" and do some repairs to it.
