Polynesian Village Resort Studio Villa

Aloha! I recently had the opportunity to stay in a brand new studio villa at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Disney has made a few of the longhouses at the Polynesian Village Resort part of the Disney Vacation Club, Disney’s version of a time share. When not booked by DVC members the general public is able to book the villas and bungalows. As of now the over the water bungalows are booked solid with DVC members but the villas do [...]

Getting There – Driving vs. Flying to Walt Disney World

I’ve often heard it said that it’s not the destination that matters but the journey. I don’t think the person who came up with that has ever been to Disney. I often work with families who are trying to decide whether they should fly or drive to Disney. So, I thought I would share my perspective on the pros of both options. Obviously, some people will have to fly (shout out to my Alaskan and Canadian friends). But, many of [...]

This should not effect the Epcot monorail. There are also other websites and message boards reporting that the express monorail will also [...]

Change in monorail operating hours at Disney World

Disney announced a few days ago that they were making a change to the hours of operation of the monorail. I am hoping this means they are going to give it a "rest" and do some repairs to it. I feel that the addition of Bay Lake Tower has really put pressure on the system and now with Disney adding DVC to the Grand Floridian Resort I feel it will only get worse. This is just my opinion though.... Effective [...]
