Disney Dining

You and your travel advisor plan each meal and park meticulously, everything is perfect but at 60 days when dining reservations opens for your vacation dates….. the stars don’t align and your must dos aren’t available!

So what happens when you don’t get what you want on the first try?  I know it is frustrating, but we have some tips to help!

Stay flexible! It might be available on another date that might not be your first choice – but try for other dates!

Keep looking! Your trusted travel advisor will keep tabs on your most wanted reservations, but it doesn’t hurt to have a second set of eyes on things.  Get your whole party looking for dining.

Have a back up. It’s ok to have a back up plan! It’s better to have another fun restaurant in place *just in case*

Don’t give up! Keep watching, even to the last minute. The last chance for someone to cancel their reservation without penalty is 24 hours in advance so watch the day before closely!

Try Wait Lists. Some restaurants offer walk up wait lists or day of availability – it’s worth checking as a last resort!  Just check with a Cast Member at the restaurant you are vying for.

Don’t let it make or break your trip. Your vacation is so much more than dining at a specific restaurant.  There are great quick service dining options with similar themes as the table service restaurants.  The experience of being together is what it is all about!

It’s easy to get disappointed, but focus on alternatives and keep trying!
