My family and I attended a sporting event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. My daughter competed in the Special Olympics. The event was a 3 day competition and had the magical Disney touch. Cast members greeted guests at the entrance waving their Mickey gloves and handed out Mickey stickers. Cast members were available throughout the complex to help guide guests and competitors the event venues. The cast members very so encouraging to the competitors and always had smiles on their faces. The first night of the competition we attended the opening ceremonies event which was held in Champion Stadium. It was truly spectacular! Mickey was on stage dancing and cheering on the competitors. Then in true Disney fashion the ceremony ended with an amazing firework show. I would recommend taking the time to experience and event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. It is fun to see the sporty side of Disney. My name is Tonya Vega and I would love to help plan your next Disney World vacation. I have personally been to Disney over 100 times!
