A Bug’s Land: California Adventure for the Wee Ones!

Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration is an extravaganza for all ages including your youngest! And don’t forget that California Adventure Park is not just for teens and adults, it has a place just for those bug-sized family members, too, call A Bug’s Land!

The two main attractions in A Bug’s Land are It’s Tough to be a Bug and Flik’s Fun Fair.

It’s Tough to be a Bug is a 3D experience with Flick and Hopper and a few extra special effects! If you don’t like creepy crawlies, you might want to pass on this one, but I thought it was a lot of fun!

At Flick’s Fun Fair you shrink down to the size of a bug and enjoy an amusement park like no other!

My favorite is Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train! You simply chew your way through one snack after another on this whimsical train ride!

Then catch Francis’ Lady Bug Boogie and spin around like the Mad Tea Cups!

And you must climb aboard Flick’s latest Invention: discarded Chinese take-out boxes and various snack-packs that whirl you around in the air for loads of fun!

And what would an amusement park be without bumper cars! Well don’t forget to stop at P.T. Fleas and ride the pill bugs!

Tip: Must be 36″ or taller to ride.

Of course there’s water fun with a maze of water hoses and dancing water!

You will want to spend all day in this bug-sized land, and as the day turns into night you will see the lights are just fireflies illuminating your way!

There is a great attention to detail everywhere you look. It will be a delight for your younger children and you as well! And bonus: you don’t even need to leave this park area to find a bathroom, just look for the upside down tissue box!
