Now that travel has picked up, and life at Walt Disney World seems to echo that of pre-pandemic days, it is time to provide some updates to my “Practically Perfect Tips When Things Don’t Go as Planned” blog. My family camped at River Ranch RV resort over president’s day weekend. River Ranch is located in Central Florida about an hour from Disney World. River Ranch RV resort is located right next to Westgate River Ranch Resort. There is so much to do at River Ranch. There is a marina which is on the Kissimmee River. The facilities also have horseback riding, mini- golf, a petting zoo, tennis & basketball courts, and skeet shooting. There is a pool and jacuzzi on the premises too. I’ve been to New Orleans several times with other adults, but when my nine-year-old son chose this destination for a mother/son trip, I thought “Why not?” New Orleans is full of fun, interesting and educational things to do with your kids.
