Every time I visit Walt Disney World, I try at least one new place to dine. For my last trip home, I decided one of these restaurants would be 1900 Park Fare. I had heard so many great things and wanted to experience it for myself. I couldn’t decide between breakfast and dinner, so I chose both! Let me share a little about each dining experience and what I loved about them.
Things to know about 1900 Park Fare:
This restaurant is located on the Deluxe Resort monorail loop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Dining is available for breakfast and dinner only. Both meals are character buffets with a variety of different characters available depending on the meal you choose. Sometimes a holiday brunch will be added for select dates in November and December. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended and can be booked up to 180 days in advance.

General Tips:
Dining at 1900 Park Fare is a great way to meet several characters all at one time. This saves valuable park time not waiting in lines for meet and greets. Characters will visit each table for photos and autographs. I recommend making a reservation for breakfast on a day you plan to go to Magic Kingdom or Epcot, dinner on a day you are leaving a park early or either dining experience on a day that you aren’t planning to visit a park.
Overall Experience:
I loved 1900 Park Fare for both breakfast and dinner! The food was great and the character interaction was amazing!
- For breakfast, my favorite foods were the sticky cinnamon buns, hickory-smoked ham and of course, Mickey waffles! And, they have candy for breakfast! They are known for their strawberry soup, so give it a try.
- For dinner, I loved the mushroom ravioli and caesar salad! I am a big kid when it comes to Disney buffets and always grab some chicken fingers.
- All the characters at breakfast were fun, but my favorites were The Mad Hatter and Tigger! Tigger always has so much energy and he is one of my favorite characters to have a photo taken with.
- At dinner, all the characters were awesome, but Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were the best characters I have met out of all my visits to Walt Disney World! Lady Tremaine chatted with me about letting her know if I see any eligible bachelors around because it is so hard to find good ones. Anastasia sat down next to me and gave me a big hug with the cheesiest laugh. Drizella taught me how to be “snassy”, a cross between snarky and sassy!
I had the best time and would recommend making a reservation here for your next Walt Disney World vacation.
Wonderland Tea Party:
On select days in the afternoon between meals, this dining space is used for the Wonderland Tea Party. Disney characters from Wonderland host a fun-filled hour of games, stories, craft making, cupcake decorating and character photos. What would a tea party be without tea? A special “tea” tasting like apple juice is served. This event is for guests ages 4 to 12 years of age. Reservations can be made by phone or by contacting your Travel with the Magic travel agent.
