PRE-TRIP REPORT About a year ago, I got a great idea for a road trip. I'd take my kids, fly from my hometown of Houston TX , to San Diego CA, and then drive from San Diego to Oakland. Day 1 Fantasyland press event week

I arrived at Disney this morning for a few days of meetings before the Fantasyland grand re-opening on Thursday morning. I flew into Orlando International Airport via Jetblue and then made my way to the the Yacht Club Resort. I had a meeting from 3pm to 5pm and then there was a reception at the Yacht Club Resort on the Asbury Patio. It was a wonderful first day but I am beat so I am back in the room and getting ready for another big day tomorrow.

The Mickey Check is becoming a recognized symbol on quick-service menus at various locations across Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland® Resort. The Mickey Check debuted on kids’ menus at Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland earlier this month, and will appear on Disney table-service menus in January 2013.
