The Wand is a very important part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It is a rite of passage for every student; it becomes an integral part of their life as much as their cloak or uniform! The wand is the wizard’s technology; it embodies your membership in the wizarding world; and it’s uniquely yours.
Because the wand is so significant in this world of Harry Potter, there is no wonder that Universal brought this experience to life!
This interactive experience was built into the new Diagon Alley and renovated into Hogsmeade’s Village. It is a simple technology of Infrared (IR) light and a sensor that brings a whole, enchanted world into existence.
With the purchase of each interactive wand, you are given a special map that shows you where to find the magical spots throughout the parks:
Simply, follow the map, locate each medallion, and execute the spell on the medallion.
There are nine (9) locations to wield your magic in Hogsmeade Village:

You can purchase your wand anywhere wands are sold and should be one of the first things you do in the park: you will want your wand with you as you walk from each attraction.
Each location and spell is unique and requires a different technique. It can take some practice to hone your skills, but the magic you unleash is worth it! Witches and Wizards are located near the interactive wand attractions and will help you practice your art. If you don’t get it the first time, keep practicing!
