So I was at Disney a few years ago for the 4th and it was fun. My husband and older son went to MK that night and I headed back to the Grand Floridian Resort with my younger son. They had the Sugar Loaf concierge lounge all set up with decorations. They had the food out and the Cast members were wearing hats. I can only post one pic here so I will post others on my blog. Anyway it is an expensive time to go to Disney because its a holiday and its the summer so it was very busy. The fireworks were amazing and they have special activities for Veterans going on that were very cool. We had been planned the trip for several months so we had an itinerary plan and the dining was all set up before hand. Having a plan before you go to Disney is important but especially when you go over a Holiday. Its not like it used to be where you could just walk up and eat somewhere you really need to make those ADR’s or advanced dining reservations. We used the itinerary as a guideline for each day but we make changes to it when we wanted to. It was a great trip and it was expensive but I would do it again.
