DisneyQuest is a 5-Story, High-Tech gaming destination in the DownTown Disney area at Walt DisneyWorld. It includes 3-D and 4-D experiences, truly unique Disney amusements, Virtual Reality games, and Tons of video games! It’s a “must-do” for families who like to play together!

My family tried it recently, and we will definitely be back again on our next trip!

Younger family members love the animated painting Living Easels. They can color different scenes and make them come to life over and over again!

They also really enjoy the RadioDisney SongMaker Recording Studios — you can pick the style of music you want to “record”, then sing along karaoke-style and listen to the playback. If you create one you really like, you can even purchase a copy of your music on a CD!

Another favorite is riding Aladdin’s Flying Carpets in virtual reality, exploring the world of Agrabah with Genie.

One of the teen and tween favorites is CyberSpace Mountain. You get to design your own roller coaster! You can add twists, turns, loops, barrel rolls, jumps, and anything you like… But beware — when you’re finished, you get to “ride” your coaster in a motion simulator machine! And if your virtual coaster goes upside down, YOU are going upside down for real! What a blast! When you’re finished, you can watch a video of yourself riding the ride (also available for purchase).

Family Fun at DisneyQuest

The whole family can climb aboard a raft for a Virtual Jungle Cruise, or attend a class in the Animation Academy where you can learn how to draw a Disney character step-by-step. There is so much for the family to do together!

Adults will love the Replay Zone, where you can find all your favorite childhood video games like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Centipede, Mario Bros. and more! Plus, all of today’s current video games are at DisneyQuest, too. You and your kids will find racing games, shooting games, motorcycle games, zombies, and more! There are even games suited for ages 2-7.

Once you pay the admission price, the games are all included. There’s no need to bring a pocketful of change!

And if you get hungry, you can pop out and grab a bite at one of the Downtown Disney eateries and return for more play time; or you can just eat right inside DisneyQuest’s food court area for some quick meals.

The price for full-day admission is $35-45 per person, but if you book a Magic Your Way Disney Resort package, you’ll receive two free admissions with your package. What a great way to try it out!

Or if you purchase Disney park tickets with the WaterPark Fun and More feature, DisneyQuest is included. Ask me about the best ticket type for your family!

My family spent about three hours here, and it was not enough — We’ll be going for the whole day next time!
