Central Park is a definite must do while visiting New York City. The park is filled with historical beauty and spans over 843 acres in the middle of Manhattan. Central Park was established in 1857 and was originally 778 acres. In 1962 Central Park was declared a National Historic Landmark. The park is the most visited urban park in the United States. The park is also one of the most filmed locations in the world. The park is open 356 days a year and tours are available.

The park is filled with amazing architecture, sculptures, lakes, greenery, flowers, wildlife, and attractions. Throughout the park there are historical sculptures and statues. One of the most famous sculptures is Strawberry Fields.

The park is home to only two restaurants; Tavern on the Green and Loeb Boathouse. My family and I had lunch at Tavern on the Green during our visit. We were fortunate to sit in the Crystal Room which had amazing views of the parks.

Carriage Ride

Central Park is famous for its attractions. Sightseeing by a horse and carriage ride is very popular in the park. Bike rentals are also a fun way to sight see in the park. There is so much to do and see in Central Park. My top picks to see in Central park are: The American Museum of Natural History, Central Park Zoo, Bethesda Terrace, The Carousel, Belvedere Castle, The Mall and Literacy Walk, Conservatory Water, and seeing all the historical statues. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring Central Park. Let me help plan your New York City vacation. My services are free and I can help take the stress out of your vacation planning.
