From the moment you arrive at this resort, you’ll love it and all its retro-themed charm! When you walk into the lobby, you’ll be transported to 1950’s America.
You’ll love the open spaces, bright colors, and clean lines here. And the experience is completely immersive — the theme continues throughout the resort, including the Starbucks Cafe
The enormous Jack LaLanne Fitness Studio
The Galaxy Bowl bowling alley, with snack food and a full-service bar
and the Quick-Service restaurant, Bayliner Diner, featuring a large seating area with a Drive-In Movie feel!
And it doesn’t stop there. The guest rooms maintain that same mid-century modern vibe in every way, although they have all the current features you’d expect in a hotel room: Free wifi service, USB charging outlets, and incredibly comfortable queen-size beds.
But the cool theming is only one of MANY reasons to stay here. This is Universal’s Value level resort, which is priced very reasonably but still comes with a lot of neat perks.
This hotel features two pools: one with a water slide, and one with a lazy river. And in the evenings, you’ll find Movies Under the Stars hosted there, as well as some cool fire pits. If you get hungry, you can grab a bite (and some adult beverages) at the Hideaway Bar & Grill located just next to the pool.
The hotel also has free bus service to Universal’s theme parks and CityWalk area. If you prefer to walk, there’s a nice walkway that will get you there in 20 minutes or so.
One of the best perks when you stay at this resort is Early Entry to the theme parks to experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter an hour before the general public is admitted (valid theme park admission is required). Be sure to set your alarm and get up early at least one day to enjoy Harry Potter before the crowds arrive!
This hotel is a real gem, and it’s priced very reasonably, so definitely think about trying it for your next trip to Universal Orlando!
